Open access is an online research outputs which is free of all restrictions on access and use. Open access can be applicable to all forms of published research output, peer-reviewed and nonpeer-reviewed academic journal articles, conference papers, theses, book chapters and monographs. Open access is of two types gratis open access, which is online access free of charge, and libre open access, which is online access free of charge plus various additional usage rights.
